行草四字扇面Four Characters in Running-Cursive Script (calligraphy fan)

A calligraphy fan. Four large characters run from right to left across the curve of the sheet, in a hand between running and cursive script, varied in size and lively in rhythm. The first opens with a heavy horizontal and ends in a looping turn; the second stands upright on a firm vertical, its right side stacked with level strokes; the third winds down in a single unbroken movement; the fourth is light and open, with a long sweeping stroke that carries the line to its close.

Two short columns of small characters at lower left end with the signature and a square seal; an oblong seal sits at the right. The writing grows freer as it goes, from the steadier first pair to the looser last two, and the strong black ink stands out crisply on the white paper.

此为书法扇面。自右至左行草书大字四个，随扇面弧度展开，大小错落，节奏分明。首字横起竖收，下作环转，墨色沉厚；次字左旁竖画挺立，右部横画层叠，结构端稳；三字笔势回环，一笔贯下；末字点画疏朗，长画舒展，收于左方。左侧小字两行，后署名款，钤方印一枚，右侧另钤长方印一枚。

四字由行入草，前二字较为端严，后二字愈见放纵，一纵一敛之间，气脉贯通。白纸黑字，对比鲜明，简净可观。
